About the Cultural Arts Department
The Town of Normal’s Department of Cultural Arts was created in 2016 to promote local quality of life by providing cultural experiences and learning opportunities for citizens of all ages. The department’s mission and strategy continues to develop as new community partnerships and programming opportunities take shape throughout the Town.
In addition to producing several of Normal’s signature community festivals and live music events, the Cultural Arts team programs and operates the Children’s Discovery Museum and the Normal Theater year-round.
