Skate Park

Fairview Park features the Town of Normal’s expansive local skatepark covering an asphalt surface that is almost 15,000 square feet, placed in a welcoming and beautiful setting adjacent to Sugar Creek.

The skatepark features a variety of obstacles, allowing all types of skaters, bikers, and others to have a great time, regardless of their skill level. Transitions ranging from 3 to 9 feet give an assortment of transition skating, intermixed with a multitude of street obstacles. Rails, ledges, pyramids, manual pads, both metal and composite, are interspersed throughout the space. The mix of transitions and street obstacles gives Fairview skaters a really well-rounded experience for every session, and endless possibilities of new lines to be found.

The park is open 6am to 11pm with lighting. The park has beautiful, large trees along its western edge, a great place for parents and siblings to hang out and join in the session as well. Fairview Skatepark is located at 801 North Main Street and can be found behind Fairview Family Aquatic Center.
