Access the Town's Free Public Wi-Fi Networks

Data limits got you down?  Looking for a spot to access the web and do your homework, or scrolling through Facebook between innings at Champion Fields?  We got you covered!  The Town of Normal provides free wireless networks at several municipal facilities and in Uptown Normal.

"Normal Wi-Fi" is the Town's free outdoor wireless network that is available around Uptown Normal.  Use it to find places to shop, eat, or just connect with others.

Normal Wi-Fi is also available inside Uptown Station, so if you are waiting for a train, hop on to the network to check the Amtrak schedule for anticipated arrival and departure times.

Visiting the Children's Discovery Museum?  Access Normal Wi-Fi while the kids are exploring the Innovation Station.
Free public Wi-Fi networks are also available at these Town parks and Facilities:
  • Anderson (Anderson Wi-Fi)
  • Champion Fields (Champion Wi-Fi)
  • Community Activity Center (CAC Wi-Fi)
  • Fairview (Fairview Wi-Fi)

*Disclaimer: These free, public networks are generally not designed to work inside buildings or homes in these areas.  Because they are an outdoor service, you may see drops in coverage, or notice less coverage during bad weather.  There are also bandwidth limits on our Wi-Fi- networks, so when it's crowded, service may slow or drop.
